Such a beautiful colourful - African Style accommodation. delicious breakfast, clean room and a beautiful exotic garden. The all the staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. "Excellent location, just a short walk from Lonnoc Beach and a 15 minute walk from the famous Champagne Beach; 20 minute ride to Port Olry. There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows."

Drainage in the shower is poor and the floor quickly becomes wet and muddy. Facilities are very worn out. The room has no shelving to put your belongings; this would be a great improvement. If you are on a budget, keep in mind that pretty much the only food options in the area are the restaurants at the lodge or at neighbouring accommodations, where a meal costs 1500-2000 vatu per person. The food is delicious though and there are local dishes - the paw paw curry was phenomenal.

"Rooms were spacious, great hot water and comfy bed. The area was close to everything but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle. Rooms were also sound proof. Darrin was very helpful, he recommended and booked us on a great hiking tour which I can highly recommend."

Nothing wrong with the bungalow, a bit noisy at night, dogs cats. Fully understand can’t be helped

"Everything. We've been before and we really like everything about it. It's such a friendly place and the owner and the couple who oversee the property are so helpful and caring."

There's nothing that we don't like. We love to walk and adore the narrow streets. The location is central but the geography of Bang Tao means that there's always a good walk to get to our favourite places.

Cabs or bike taxis don't reach the eco village.....and at least 1km or climbing is mandatory.
