"the house is big and you have everything you need. The area is perfect for cycling, which was one of the purposes of our trip. After a couple of hours of cycling we enjoyed the swimming pool and most of the time there was a bit of wind which made it even more enjoyable."

"Un petit gîte coquet en bordure du havre de Portbail au sein d'un centre équestre. Emplacement très agréable juste à côté du havre et de la mer et sa belle plage, au calme complet. On se trouve tout proche, même à pied, du village avec tous les commerces nécessaires (et plus encore!) A noter, le département de la Manche propose des lignes de bus à 1€ le voyage pour sillonner dans la région : 2 lignes rien qu'à Portbail !!! Le logement est très bien équipé, confortable et douillet. La présence des chevaux est un vrai plus. Seul élément à prendre en compte en fonction de votre physique : l'escalier qui mène à la chambre n'est pas adapté aux personnes à mobilité réduite. Pour les autres, il faut juste être bien prudent. Merci à Thomas pour son accueil, nous avons adoré notre séjour à Portbail en plein hiver avec un ciel lumineux tous les jours !"

"Lovely hosts, they couldn’t have done more for us. Felt like a home from home. Brigitte even booked the mandatory vet appointment for our dogs tapeworm treatment before going back to UK (as the vets didn’t do email). We were given treats from the local area. If we are ever back in the Dordogne area again we will be sure to stay here. The gite is in a very tranquil area, at end of a lane. Our dog played with Pam, all off lead. We felt safe in our surroundings. The gite was large and we had everything we needed."
