"We loved our stay at The Train View! The host family is the friendliest people! They were so accommodating and went the extra mile for us to be as comfortable and informed about Nuwara Eliya as possible. We had to check out at 07.00 our last day, and still they woke up to make us breakfast at 06.15. The breakfast was delicious and they served amazing locally produced tea. The host told us everything we needed to know about buses and the train to Ella. The view was amazing and it was only a short walk to the most beautiful waterfall. The Train View is located 15 minutes outside of Nuwara Eliya town, but the town is all about nature which made the location perfect. We really want to recommend this wonderful accommodation!"

"Our host was incredibly helpful and hospitable. He always made sure we were happy and served us a delicious breakfast every morning. We got a lovely view of the mountains and our room had a locket balcony. Room was clean. Highly recommend!"

"Small guesthouse next to the station. Nice host family! Room is spacious and everything is superclean. I asked Host to make me nice small dinner and breakfast was hearty and plentiful - bananas, pancakes with sweet coconut, noodles and dahl Bed was okay but on hard side Shower was cold water 🤣 They met me with tuktuk from station at night and i also asked driver for a tour around- Ramboda falls, Bluefield tea factory, few sites around Nuwara Eliya Left at 8, came back around 1:30. Cost was 6000 lkr Getting there: Elevation is high, so I would not recommend walking upstairs woth heavy bags, but there are stairs next to the house (google shows only drive road - which I would not recommend to walk - it’s quite wet)"

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."
"This was a nicely designed hotel, with spacious rooms. Conveniently located for Yala safari pickups. There was even a peacock to greet us every morning outside our balcony!"

"1.位置非常好！滿分💯2.民宿配合的safari司機非常專業，熟悉獵豹及各種動物的習性，非常佩服他，他也會很主動提醒我們各種細節，為我們著想，此行我們看到兩隻獵豹，其中一隻還從我們的吉普車前經過，真是難忘的經驗！3.民宿的男接待員（一位長者）雖然似乎不是很會說英語，但很盡心的照顧我們。另一位年輕的男員工也相當積極盡責，服務態度相當好。4.我們雖然預定三人房，但幫我們升級到五人房，位置寬敞，熱水、空調和吹風機都正常使用。5.用餐前剛好碰上鹿群也在喝水，感謝男員工很熱心告知我們。住在野外，優點就是跟動物零距離，當晚就看到了水牛群、野生鹿群、孔雀，這是在飯店不會有的體驗。6.晚餐相當豐盛，特別是份量十足，我們兩位用餐，但幾乎給了我們四人份，且味道也很好。"

"Very large spacious room, surrounded by nature. We even had birds with chicks nesting in our ceiling lampshade which was so cute. Our private pool was clean and the perfect spot to chill out after a long day of animal-spotting on safari. We saw leopards, a sloth bear, elephants, crocs - was brilliant!"
