"It was quirky and a lovely cosy space to base ourselves. Very close to the airport and next to the harbour in the town. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The loft bed was something different too and cosy and comfortable. The owner was great and friendly. We had absolutely no issues and hope to go again someday."

Super calm and peaceful in beautiful surroundings - a tonic after Dakar and Saint Louis. Relatively accessible for Saloum Delta which we loved. Great air conditioning. Lovely swimming pool"

Water pressure was low at certain times - pipe being repaired, so perhaps temporary. You'll need a car to get around (we got a taxi for 10.000 - 15.000 CFA each way to Ndangane.)

"The position. I was very skeptical due to bad reviews on booking.com but I found a well maintained and peaceful place. I was staying in a superior room, so can’t comment on the standard ones."

Restaurant choice was very limited but food was good

"If you want a peaceful, calm and stunning environment, this is the place. It is simple, but has everything you need in a beautiful setting. Perfect for nature lovers who don't want to be on top of other guests."

Was a bit musty smelling, but after being opened up and aired out and a candle or two it was perfect.

Cold water shower (was fine for body but just cold for washing hair!), the vents in wall allowed a lot of smoke in which made me quite coughy but wasn’t a big issue

Our door panels had broken parts that were just taped up instead of properly fixed.

"1.位置非常好！滿分💯2.民宿配合的safari司機非常專業，熟悉獵豹及各種動物的習性，非常佩服他，他也會很主動提醒我們各種細節，為我們著想，此行我們看到兩隻獵豹，其中一隻還從我們的吉普車前經過，真是難忘的經驗！3.民宿的男接待員（一位長者）雖然似乎不是很會說英語，但很盡心的照顧我們。另一位年輕的男員工也相當積極盡責，服務態度相當好。4.我們雖然預定三人房，但幫我們升級到五人房，位置寬敞，熱水、空調和吹風機都正常使用。5.用餐前剛好碰上鹿群也在喝水，感謝男員工很熱心告知我們。住在野外，優點就是跟動物零距離，當晚就看到了水牛群、野生鹿群、孔雀，這是在飯店不會有的體驗。6.晚餐相當豐盛，特別是份量十足，我們兩位用餐，但幾乎給了我們四人份，且味道也很好。"

1.洗手台有幾隻小蟲（螞蟻？），但畢竟住宿點在野外，我們認為合理，也不影響住宿。 2.用餐的桌上剛抵達時有蒼蠅，但接近傍晚，蒼蠅都不見了，我們實際上用晚餐時是幾乎沒有蒼蠅的。我們在斯里蘭卡十幾天來，幾乎每一家餐廳或飯店多少都有蒼蠅，因此我們見怪不怪。

Only gripe might be that the air was quite dry, making sleep quality not so good: might be because of it being a wooden bldg

"The best in the village. Paul the owner is amazing.and loves his industry. The bungalows are so comfortable and well appointed. Bed was the most comfy in Laos. We could not fault anything. View from the hammock on the balcony outstanding."

"This magical place in the hills is owned and run by Thierry who puts a great deal of care, detail and consideration into his guest's stay. His love of the land, plants and animals is evident. Thierry gave us a tour of the property plus an amazing breakfast which included a whole tasting activity with different jams and chocolate / cheese spreads ! The bed was very comfortable. We loved the jucazzi at night whilst stargazing We enjoyed relaxing in the morning looking out over the view."

Please note if you are walking it is a steep climb back up the hill.

"Unique setting and and extraordinary setting! Must visit when in Qatar if you like organic food and a unique outdoor setting"
