"Great affordable place at a perfect location in Oaxaca city! Relatively quiet considering how central it is because of the huge inside yard on the first floor. Friendly people that even let us leave our bags during the day when we came back to town 4 days after we stayed there!"

"After discovering that our original booking hotel no longer existed, we booked Tobalá at the last minute and were very happy we had this happen, it was a much better and very clean hotel in a perfect and quiet location just moments from the Zocalo and local market. The staff were kind and helpful. The cleaner worked very hard to maintain its cleanliness. Big and spacious double room with semi-hot shower and coffee maker. In the common area outside the door had a view of the stars above and free WIFI, a water refill area with microwave. We were very happy that even though the location was right in the centre, it was very quiet at night. It's a local hotel and priced just right. We could venture out across the street to the local market for meals and photo opportunities. A great stay!! Gracias"

"This is my first stay at this hotel. The Location is excellent, very clean, room and bathroom sizes were very comfortable spaces. Good daylight. Staff was very nice. Excellent value for the money"

"Great location right next to an amazing food market. The staff are very helpful. Water is available at reception, they were also able to store my bags for a full day before my night bus. The rooms are a great size, I didn't have any issues with noise either."
