"The first time in my life that I paid for a structure and I didn't sleep there. I booked a large room, when I arrived they gave me a hole of a room where I had difficulty breathing. To use the reserved room they asked me to pay 70 soles more, which I did not accept. If I had known before I would never have booked that room with them. I felt cheated"

"They helped us about tickets to Machu Picchu. We got breakfast to go because we left early and there was also a possibility to leave our staff in the room while going to Machu Picchu."

"Good place for a money we paid, perfect location, we did not expect that it is a luxury place, bed was clean, hot water, safety enough, a lot of restaurants around, near to train station. Thank you Jesus (night front desk) for being very helpful and understandable. If you are looking for something very comfortable choose another place, in case you are going for excursions and sightseeing and will come back to take shower and sleep this place exactly what you can book."

"The noise was horrendous. other guests were making a hell of a noise until 2am with children running around outside our room. Then at 5am they were shouting and whistling to each other to get up. In 2 days we didn't have any sleep."

"You can hear anything from the outside and other rooms so we didn’t sleep well, other guests woke up us at 5:30am We spent two days here and first breakfast included avocado and bananas and the other day the breakfast was very basic.."

"Where to start… 1. Upon arrival greeted by miserable, unhelpful staff member. Not sure by the other reviews about staff being friendly as we didn’t encounter any during our stay. 2. Bathroom was dirty and no hot water in sink or shower. 3. While not the fault of the hostel, there was a festival on for the 2 nights we stayed and music was so loud until 4am. Front door was left wide open so noice was even louder. The hostel was literally 2 doors down from festival. 4. Music was being played daily in the hostel from 5am. If you like your sleep or are up early for a hike DO NOT STAY HEFE. 5. Breakfast was a piece of hard bread and jam. A flask of hot water with tea bags. Not expecting lavish food but something a little more substantial knowing most people are there to trek. 6. Although the beds are comfy, the heavy blankets are itchy and not sure when last cleaned. I would not stay here again and can’t recommend it when there are so many other places for stay in the area."
