Simba Villa

"The property went above my expectations, it was almost a private villa you'd probably get nowhere in Arusha in that price range. Even my safari guide was puzzled as to how I discovered it. Don't let the lower number of reviews take you elsewhere, it opened in 2023. There's a private garden, lush and manicured with perfection, a balcony, two roof top terraces to enjoy 360deg view of the area and not to forget clear view of Mt Meru, and it's immaculately clean throughout the property. To top it off, the staff was the kindest and most helpful bunch of people, I was blown away by the hospitality of Walter and Jackson who helped me with SIM card, restaurant suggestions, even helping recovering our power bank we left at the SIM store. They made every efforts to make our stay memorable. Definitely coming back here if in Arusha next."

"Very minor and not a dealbreaker but breakfast is basic. A word of caution on relying on google maps, Navigate rather to Themi Secondary school and ask your taxi to drive 200m further, the property will be on your left (63 house number)."

"It’s massive. Rooms are very spacious. It’s bright and clean. Comfortable bathroom. No insects in room. Comfortable bed and linen. The kitchen area is big and well equipped. Several public lounging spaces, rooftop views and a lovely garden court. Staff friendly and accommodating."

"the road to simba villa is very bad and does not suit for cars that aren't off-road. also the neighbourhood is a bit too quite which does not offer a visitor a chance to take a walk around the neighbourhood."

"1. value for money 2. Very nice territory with amazing view on Mery mountain from rooftop terrace (I uploated short video in google). 3. Located in quiet place and really close to Clock Tower (1.2 km walk). You only need to keep in mind that the road after the turn to the hotel is unpaved and not lit at night (in case you are walking)."

"It's a little strange that there's no door to the bathroom—just a doorway. This isn't a dealbreaker for a one-night stay, so I didn't downgrade it. But for a longer stay, it might be uncomfortable."

"The place have everything what you need for a stay before/after the safari. They can store the luggage and welcome you anytime you come. Owner will meet you and person and make sure you are alright. For this price they have hot water there and proper facilities. Breakfast like at home, very warm. They provide soap, dent kit. Felt safe as a single traveler lady in Africa. And by the way great view from the room and they have a nice garden. Also you can use their fridge or kitchen."

"Kind of troubles with location by bolt taxi, showing wrong way, need to be ready for that. Light in the room is very dark, towels are hard, but it’s cheap so i wouldn’t complain. Rooms are not soundproofed, but also is ok."
