"Great view to the sea over the tin roofs and around the viĺlage and just a short walk to the sea. The roosters do crow in the morning and i loved that.Handy for shops and a great rooftop restaurant just down the road. Garfield was very helpful."

"Incredibly well fit out. The host spent time making sure to give attention to detail. Spacious rooms and living area. Really is a hidden gem. Stayed at a supposedly more highly rated apartment in the area, but this place was better in most respects. Close to most food, entertainment and social needs. Highly recommend."

"As is customary in the Caribbean, there was no air-conditioning in the living area and kitchen. Very warm and uncomfortable, while the bedrooms, with air-conditioning, were very pleasant. The neighbourhood, although appearing safe, wasn't in the best part of town."

Garfield and Ava who own the house are wonderfully helpful and attentive, ensuring you have everything you need for a perfect stay. The house itself is fantastic—spacious, impeccably maintained, and equipped with all the appliances you could need. The highlight, though, is the amazing balcony with breathtaking sea views—it’s an unforgettable spot to watch the sunset. If you enjoy immersing yourself in the local culture and being surrounded by friendly locals, this is absolutely the place for you. It’s a truly special experience!"

The apartment itself was spotless, well maintained, and equipped with all the amenities exactly as described. A great choice for anyone looking to experience St. Lucia beyond the typical tourist spots."

"With election season happening, the area was lively and full of local energy. Being in the centre of town also meant we heard nearby animals, adding to the authentic Caribbean atmosphere which at times were a little noisy. But obviously a matter beyond the control of our lovely hosts"

"Garfield’s is indeed a hidden gem, tucked behind the owner’s own home is spacious rental that was obviously newly constructed with a lot of attention to detail. The kitchen was well stocked and appliances were new. Since it was just my husband and I we occupied the master bedroom suite and the other two bedrooms were locked. The master bedroom had great views as did the kitchen and balcony. The A/C in the bedroom worked great and was quiet. Rental is conveniently located in central Soufrière - beach, shops, water taxis, restaurants all nearby walking distance. Place was overall very comfortable and sparkling clean."

"There is no hot water in master bathroom. The downstairs shower does have hot water. We had an issue with the toilet downstairs as the chain got caught in the valve causing water to leak and owner turned off water without notice. We had to pay in cash - no other form of payment like credit card or PayPal accepted. The keys were a little hard to work."
